Side | Teeth Whitening Solution

I was wondering if concentrated UV light, like the kind in tanning beds, has any effects on your teeth, like whitening them or anything, or on the inside of your mouth. I’m just curious – I don’t plan to tan with my mouth wide open anytime soon.

I’m thinking of having my teeth whitened by a professional, but heard that Zoom whitening can make teeth brittle. Has anyone had it done or *knows* someone who had it done that had adverse effects from the process?

I just brushed my teeth with baking soda because they say it is effective in whitening teeth. My gums kinda sting after though. So are there any side effects in doing this?
