How should I react when unattractive girls smile at me in a nightclub?

13 Comments 05 September 2010

Right, first of all I am not being arrogant or trying to say I am the king of all players etc because I will admit I am not. However, I have confidence in myself and believe I am good looking because many women have said so. The fact is that I would rather meet attractive women in nightclubs than go for an easy “pull”. When I get a drink at the bar I get smiled at often by mainly unattractive females who I have no interest in. How should I react? Should I just smile back and move on?

Dental Teeth Whitening – What A Parent Should Know About The Care Of Baby Teeth

No Comments 01 June 2010

Do you want a brighter whiter smile?. click here now >> for a great teeth whitening solution >>Of course with your newborn you won’t be worrying about tooth care. However as your child gets older you will want to know how to take care of your older baby’s or toddler’s teeth. Caring for a baby’s or toddler’s teeth can be challenging but it’s still important. Here are some tips you should follow. As any new parent knows by the time a baby is just a few months old he or she may be cutting a first tooth. This is where the care of baby teeth starts. First of all to help the baby teethe you can purchase specially made teething rings that usually can be put in the freezer and made cold and hard. Babies love to chew on these since they help ease the pain and also help new teeth break through the gums. Oftentimes children get slight colds or runny noses during the teething process. If this happens or if your child is running a slight fever you can wipe the child with a damp washcloth to make him or her feel better. If the fever persists make sure to contact your pediatrician or other health care professional to see what interventions you might do. For example you might be able to give the child a little baby Tylenol or some other type of pain reliever. This will not only help fever go down but it will also help ease the teething pain. Once your child has a few teeth you can begin to introduce him or her to proper oral hygiene. For very very small babies with few or no teeth a warm clean wet washcloth rubbed on gums may be enough to help keep the mouth clean. Of course always put your child to bed with only a bottle of water no milk or juice. Once your child is a bit older you’ll want to begin to introduce him or her to brushing teeth. At first do this yourself with a soft brush and a little baby tooth paste. Brushing your child’s teeth while he or she is still young will help him or her get used to the process. Of course once your child gets older around the age of five or six the baby teeth will start to fall out and adult teeth will start to come in. Once this begins to happen remember to make it fun and exciting. Of course children usually like this process because the tooth fairy visits and they get a little spending money for their trouble. Make sure to make the process even easier by providing soft foods if the child has trouble chewing after he or she loses the tooth. With a little luck and some planning your child’s teeth will take him or her to adulthood healthy and strong. Good oral hygiene is a must for this so start early by both practicing good hygiene and taking the child to the dentist for regular visits.

Teeth Whitening Questions You Should be Asking

No Comments 20 May 2010

Teeth whitening systems are rampant. Which one do you choose? Which one is most effective, and which one lasts the longest? Here are some questions to help you along the journey.
What brand of toothpaste has a better effect on whitening teeth? All toothpastes help remove surface stains because they contain mild abrasives. Some whitening toothpastes contain gentle polishing or chemical agents that provide additional stain removal effectiveness. Whitening toothpastes can help remove surface stains only and do not contain bleach. Whitening toothpastes can lighten your tooth’s color by about one shade. In contrast, light-activated whitening conducted in your dentist’s office can make your teeth three to eight shades lighter.
How do I protect my gums during teeth whitening? 50% of the people who use peroxide-based teeth whitening products will usually develop some degree of gum irritation. This takes the form of a mild to moderate sensitivity appearing within two or three days after first use. It will begin to dissipate. For most people the gum sensitivity they experience does not interfere with their teeth whitening activities. A tray-less form of peroxide-based teeth whitening, paint-on or whitening strips, might be a better choice. Only experimentation can provide a definitive answer for you.
Does everyone experience side effects of teeth whitening? No, not everyone will develop side effects although experiencing them is common. It has been estimated that as many of two-thirds of the people who use peroxide-based teeth whiteners experience some degree of sensitivity.
What age is best to start teeth whitening? Teenagers are influenced by the dazzling white smiles of celebrities. So, it’s not surprising that at an early age, kids want to have perfectly white smiles. But surely this is not teeth whitening age!
Most over-the-counter products are not recommended for children under 12 years of age. These include teeth whitening strips, gels, pens and mouth guards. Children are permitted to use mouth rinses, flosses, whitening toothpastes and gums. Parents should check the labels of whitening products to see if they are safe to use on children.
How long does teeth whitening last? It takes twelve to eighteen months to re-stain but on a sliding scale as the change is slow and the pores of the enamel start retaining the staining teeth become discolored again. Depending on whether you opt for bleaching trays or the light based whitening system will change how you manage the ongoing maintenance of your smile. Using a maintenance product every few weeks ensures the teeth will stay white.
For owners of the dentist made trays you can use the system every six to eight weeks for a few hours to remove any residual staining and teeth will stay white all year round. Check with your dentist though.
For those with the laser system, every twelve or twenty four months will keep the teeth looking white and healthy.

No Comments 14 May 2010

Do you want a brighter whiter smile?. click here now >> for a great teeth whitening solution >>Baby teething can be a frustrating time for both the parents and the child. But it is a completely natural process and poses no danger to the baby. The first baby teeth to emerge are usually the two front teeth on the bottom gum known as the central incisors. These will normally start to erupt between the ages of 4 to 7 months. Some babies will start teething earlier. Teething does not cause a high fever or vomiting and diarrhea. If your baby develops these symptoms then you need to contact your baby’s doctor. Here are the basic teething symptoms and signs to look for in knowing that your baby has started teething:Excessive slobberingExcessive irritability and crankinessGums that are red and swollenYour baby wants to chew on solid objectYour baby may have a lot of trouble falling asleep or staying asleepA low grade temperature usually not higher than 100. 5Teething does not cause a high fever or vomiting and diarrhea. If your baby develops these symptoms then you need to contact your baby’s doctor. For some lucky babies and parents teething can actually be painless. For others it will cause irritability and crankiness for weeks. The following are tips you can use to help make your baby more comfortable during the teething process:Massage your baby’s gums. Take a moistened wash cloth or use your clean finger and give your baby’s gums a good massage. The gentle pressure from the massage may help ease the discomfort. Give your baby a teething ring. Use the firm rubber kind because the ones filled with water may split from pressure of your baby’s bite. Never tie a teething ring around your baby’s neck. This could become a choking hazard. If your baby prefers the bottle fill it with water. Too much lengthy contact with sugary substances such as milk and juice can cause decay of your baby’s teeth. Keep your baby’s gums cool. Offer a chilled washcloth or teething ring. Do not give your baby a teething ring that is frozen because the extreme cold may make your baby’s gums hurt even more. Clean the drool from the baby’s chin frequently. Babies will drool excessively during teething. It is important to always keep a cloth available to dry the drool from his chin. Keeping the skin dry will prevent a rash from forming on the baby’s face and chin. Try over the counter medicine. If your baby seems to be in a lot of pain with teething you may try over the counter medicine such as ibuprofen or infant’s Tylenol. Make sure these are the infant dosages. It will say on the bottle if it is for infants. Never ever give your baby adult formulated medicine and never give him aspirin for pain. Always follow the recommended dosages as stated on the bottle. Just because it is over the counter medicine does not mean that it can’t be harmful if too much is given. Baby teething can be a tough time for baby and parents. Monitor your baby closely during this time and try to give him as much comfort as possible. Soon the teething symptoms will be gone and your little one will be less cranky and smiling at you with their pearly whites. All Rights Reserved Worldwide.
