Sensodyne Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth and Cavity Prevention, Maximum Strenth, 3-Pack

I have fairly sensitive teeth (even with sensitivity toothpaste, I can only eat a certain number of grapes or sour foods until they get really sensitive for a few days; ice in my mouth is a big no no) caused from grinding my teeth as a child. My wedding is coming up next year, and I’d like to be able to whiten my teeth, but I know that if I were to get Crest white strips or something along those lines, it would hurt a lot. Is there any other alternative besides whitening toothpaste (I already use whitening toothpaste for sensitive teeth)?
I’m going to talk to my dentist about it, but I want to have an idea of what’s out there (probably professional treatments) before I go in. I want to research them first, etc.
