I recently started using whitening strips, at first I was in no pain. However, I started experiencing a lot of pain so I use them once a week now, But the pain is DEADLY. How can I stop the pain?! Please HELP!

ok well i just got my braces off & the orthodontist gave me this whitening stuff to put in my retainer & it will make my teeth white & it says to leave it in for 4-6 hours so i had mine in for about 2 hours or so & then my teeth started feeling weird so i took them out & now my teeth are VERY sensitive & some are yellow & some are white & some have REALLY white spots on them & the roof of my mouth feels like,after you just burnt the roof of your mouth & my gums are inflamed. HELP !?
