I went to the dentist recently as I had a small hole in one of my front teeth at the gumline and he gave me a filling, as well as a small filling in a back tooth for a tiny hole i’ve had for over 10 years (i’m 27 now) but he thought whilst he was doing the front one he may as well do that one too.
Before I went I had noticed that one of my wisdom teeth at the very top back looked a bit funny at the side as if it was decayed but it was very hard to tell due to how far back it is. . . even with a little dental mirror it was hard to see.
Whilst I was at the dentist he x-rayed both sides of my mouth and after the fillings said that the x rays were fine.
This was about 6/7 weeks ago. .
Now ive just looked at that tooth again and it just looks WEIRD. . and it feels weird too, as if 1/3rd of the tooth has chipped off, but I get no pain or discomfort from it. . .
Now I don’t know if this is a dead tooth that is just crumbling to pieces in the back of my mouth or if it’s just a really bizarre shape due to it being a wisdom tooth but my dentist never mentioned it at all. . . and he even x-rayed my mouth. . surely if there was a dead/badly decayed tooth in my mouth he would have wanted to whip it out/root canal it/ at least MENTION it?? I’m really freaking out about it now.
Also some of my front teeth look kinda stained at the gumline and I don’t understand why that didnt get polished away. . .
I feel absolutely gutted because I used to have perfectly shaped white teeth with no fillings and now I just feel like my teeth are in an absolute state compared to before
It looks like my enamels gone really thin also when I shine a light through them. . . is there any way I can make my teeth stronger, whiter and healthier again??
Thanks
Forgot to mention that these were my first fillings. . . all of a sudden my teeth seem to have gone from perfectly healthy to less so
